Twenty years ago, Dr. John Hammond had a dream: to create a theme park where visitors from all over the world could experience the thrill of seeing dinosaurs of flesh and blood.

At last, the dream has come true.

Welcome to Jurassic World, a luxurious tourist center attended by tens of thousands of visitors to see with their own eyes the magnificent prehistoric animals and interact with them.

The Jurassic World theme park is located on an island near Costa Rica. This state-of-the-art wonder is devised around a bustling main street that leads to the main attractions. The children mount friendly triceratops puppies in the minizoo, the public shouts enthusiastically when the gigantic mosaic emerges from its pool to swallow a great white shark, and the families contemplate with fascination dinosaurs of all sizes and classes walking freely in their zones safe.

The person in charge of the perfect functioning of Jurassic World is Claire (BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD, Maids and Ladies), who receives the unexpected visit of her two nephews, Zack, 16 years old (NICK ROBINSON, the series "Melissa & Joey"), and Gray, age 11 (TY SIMPKINS, the Insidious movies). His mother Karen (JUDY GREER, Ant-Man) wants them to spend a few days in Jurassic World, but Claire does not have time to take care of them personally and just give them passes for all the attractions before sending them to have fun alone.

The amazing animals that populate the park are a creation of Dr. Henry Wu (BD WONG, Jurassic Park), a geneticist who had worked for InGen, the company that financed the first theme park of John Hammond, and is now hired by the Mythical multimillionaire and financier Simon Masrani (IRRFAN KAHN, Life of Pi). For the commercial company to work really well and visitors continue to arrive by the thousands, it is necessary to offer a new attraction every year. Dr. Wu has no choice but to go beyond the ethical limits of science and manipulate genetics to create dinosaurs that never existed, creatures that never stepped on the earth and from which absolutely everything is ignored.

The huge and mysterious Indominus Rex has been created in the most absolute secrecy and will soon be presented in society. The dinosaur, which has lived in total isolation after devouring its only brother, is already an adult. Claire, eager to learn more about the animal and safety, goes to see Owen (CHRIS PRATT, Guardians of the Galaxy), a former expert on animal behavior who works in a secret research area on the edge of the park. Owen has spent years training a group of aggressive velociraptors with whom he has established an alpha-type relationship, thus achieving a precarious balance between reluctant obedience and predatory rebellion.


When the Indominus Rex, whose cruelty and intelligence is unknown, manages to escape from the area in which it has grown, all living beings of Jurassic World, men and animals, are threatened. At that time, the people who matter most to Claire are their nephews, who have just embarked on a tour in a gyrosphere that offers 360-degree visibility. Owen joins Claire to find the two boys while the madness breaks out in the park and visitors go from observers to prey. The dinosaurs escape, the aerial and aquatic creatures confront each other in a battle without quarter and there is not a single safe place in the whole center.
